• Advantageous pricing on information industry products and services can easily recoup the cost of an AIIP membership.
   
• AIIP members receive special discounts and services from information providers through the AIIP Industry Relations Program. Eligibility for some benefits is determined by membership level. Typically, those levels are determined by the vendor, not by AIIP.

Awards and Recognition

• AIIP President's Award -- Given in recognition of any person or institution which has demonstrated extraordinary support of the Objectives of the Association.

• Myra T. Grenier Award -- This award helps a new or aspiring independent information professional to attend the AIIP Annual Conference.
   
• Roger Summit Conference Sponsorship -- The Roger Summit Conference Sponsorship helps a Full AIIP member attend his or her first AIIP Annual Conference. 
   
• Sue Rugge Memorial Award -- This award recognizes a Full member of AIIP who has significantly helped another member through formal or informal mentoring.
